about 'I love you'

'I love you' isn't never enough

Is that really what you believe?

Especially at our age right and everything we've been trough, 

you can't just tell someone I like you. 

Remember when 'I like you' was enough? 

'I like you' was all you wanted to hear from someone? 

Remember when 'I love you' was enough? 

Before ex-girlfriend, before ex-boyfriend,

before disapproving parents, 

before that lil bad habit grew into the most annoying thing ever, 

before pretending to like high society class things, 

before wishing he'd enjoy dancing and sitting through musicals just to make her happy.. 

It was enough before she took the job overseas 

and long-distance reveal their weaknesses.. 

this was before he gave up on himself,

before he realized he never going to convert.. 

this was before he was ready for marriage and kids and she wasn't. 

I LOVE YOU was enough before other I LOVE YOU.. before he said I thought i love you.. this is before her own thoughts straight to someone else.. 

it was enough before we were heard so deeply, and 

before we heard other so selfishly..

I love you was enough until you found out it wasn't

It's just words.. statement..

It's not enough and it won't ever be you think that's all you need..
